The Thomas Brotherz: Press

A positive review?  I think so!Head_lick_resized.jpg

Shelli Owens - Ink Stained Fingers, San Fransisco CA (2009)
THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT NORTH COUNTY
BLUES LOVERS,
YOU REALLY KNOW HOW TO PARTY
Of course the Thomas Brotherz made it real easy to enjoy the night. Didn’t They?
The originals were great for me, with wild lyrics like in “Monkey Man” and
“Skeleton Crew Blues” among many more. …”Theirs is very special music, like sitting
on a back porch in the summertime with fireflies dancing in the breeze”.
We had music notables in the crowd last night. Julius Chambers of the
Chambers Brothers, also the promoter of the Dobbie Brothers and a
representative of the famed Museum Club in Arizona (listed among the
Top 10 Roadhouses by Car & Driver Magazine).
Sharon Mack - Hot Blues Engine (Jul 22, 2008)
"They covered the past with grace and honest admiration, let us tour the many dialects of the blues and then took us to the future with originals that are fresh, exciting, played with rhythmic verve and push edge of the form."
Music Scene (Aug 18, 2007)
“Another Dialect of the Blues.” The Thomas Brotherz Paul Damico and Michael McFadden will take us south, east, north and west. This Acoustic Duo features multi-instrumentation and vocals. Their unique style, originality and Americana have been described as Gutbucket-two-in-the-morning Blues to Hillbilly Raw. Your emotions will get a workout.
North County Voice (Aug 15, 2007)
"You have to love the intimacy created as The Thomas Brotherz make and let the strings shimmy from squeak to ring on multiple instruments."
